God Answers Prayers

Our pastor, Fred Seay, came to visit Eric this afternoon, as he has most every day and most days twice. He was as excited as the rest of us that Eric was off the ventilator. He had promised Eric he'd dance a happy dance once the tube was out, and he was true to his word. Pastor Fred told Eric he couldn't wait to tell everyone the good news. Eric, whose reluctant vocal cords have yet to realize they can work now, wrote on his dry erase board, "Why don't you write a sermon?" Fred said, "Great idea, I think I will." I asked Eric what he thought the theme of the sermon should be. Eric shakily held the pen and wrote, "God answers prayers."

Amen

I'm so thrilled. Can't love Eric more than I do right this minute reading your latest post. He is a young man to be proud of, Angie. And I know God is going to use him in a big, big way. :)--if He hasn't already. This whole experience with your family has touched so many lives.

Eric, Way to go! God does hear all prayers, it just may take a few more than others. You know the North of the burgh is doing a dance for you tonight. We are still praying for you to get stronger and go the next step and get out of there and go home. You will have to post your sermon we all would love to read it.
Stay strong The entire Dilmore family!!

Hi Eric and family, I am so glad to get the good news about how your recovery is progressing. I think you have a great doctor in Dr. Thompson. I taught his children at St. Louis High School. I hope you will be home before too much longer.

You are at the top of my prayer list.

Blessings,
Bev

Wow. Eric is a gem for sure. So courageous and such faith. (Angie - "you done good" raising those kids of yours.) You should be sooo proud.

Now if we can just get some meat on his bones!!
