Transporting to Houston

Eric had a quiet night, but in the still, his PaCO2 crept up to 120, and he had more problems with oxygenation. He continues to have a stubborn fever. Otherwise, he's stable, and it's for that reason that we're going to Texas today. Because who knows what tomorrow might bring. The call hasn't been made to set the jet engines in motion. That has to wait till Eric's doctor comes in. But the transport team coordinator told us last night that if he gets the call in the morning, they can be here by noon. So please, however, wherever you worship this morning, pray for safe travel and wisdom for the doctors and staff at Texas Children's Hospital. Thanks so much.

Angie, we are all praying for a safe transport for Eric. I picked up my Bible this morning and just opened it with no particular passage in mide. It opened to Psalm 91:11 "For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you go." Angels will be flying with Eric today. We love you all!

I got your email this morning. Jim and I prayed for Eric before we left for church. We prayed for him in SS class. I lifted you all to the Lord during our song service - God is hearing our voices. Bro. Steve preached on Psalm 23:1 and I breathed prayers all through the service that our Shepherd would hold His little lamb close to his heart. Be strong in your faith and love for Jesus.
God is hearing our prayers; I know Eric will be healed. I claim it as one of God's blessings to us all. We love you and we're shedding tears and prayers for you and with you.

Your family and Eric were lifted up at St. Luke-Simpson United Methodist Church this morning! Our 5 year old twins were lifted up in this way when I was pregnant for them and they are here and healthy! We know the power of prayer and what God does through his miracles! Keep the Faith!

Angie, Bob, and family,
My prayers go with you as you seek further help in Eric's recovery. Know that you are in our prayers, day and night. I don't know what to say that has not already been said. I love you and pray for this nightmare to soon be over.

All of you will do better in Houston! NO regrets, Angie. Second guessing isn't good for anyone. Next time we're in Houston, I will certainly get in touch.

I'm with you. Bactrim, being a sulfa, can be pretty dramatic. My mother had serious reactions to it. Nothing like Eric, but enough to be frightening.

Prayers . . .

My love and travelling mercies are with all of you. We prayed for Eric and the Dilmore family at MBUMC this morning.
I am confident that the doctors and staff at TCH will have a clue. May the Lord be their guide and provide healing for Eric and peace of mind and comfort to all of you.

See you real soon.

Love,
Meryl-Sue

Dear Angie and Family, Wanted you to know that Eric and all of you have been in my prayers ceaselessly these past weeks. Your Hiland family will not rest until Eric is healed and home with you. May the warmth and comfort of the Holy Spirit hold you all closely and give you renewed strength to deal with this exhasting journey. Blessing and Love in Christ, Willa
