Winning One for the Other Hand
Whew! That was way too close at the end of the 4th quarter. But the Steelers pulled it off for a record 6th Super Bowl win. There's a party in Pittsburgh tonight!
Oh, there a couple of us here. A friend at church, originally from New Castle, has lived in Louisiana for many years, and he's the biggest Steeler fan I know. Today in Step class, the instructor asked if there were any Steeler fans in the room. I was the only one who whoo-hooed. She's from Ohio and a Browns fan (a friend, I must add)but I suspect she wanted to say something mean about the Steelers and then couldn't cause I was there.
I found your blog doing a steeler search on blogs after the Super Bowl. I just moved down here from OH. I am originally from this area and have been away for 22 years. I became a Steelers fan in the mid-70's due to Terry Bradshaw. I have gotten many strange comments about my Steeler jacket down here. I enjoy your writing and am adding your blog to my blog roll.
Hi! I just found your site from another that was linked to mine, and just wanted to say I hope you're enjoying Lake Charles! My family lives there. I'm in Ruston (north LA) with my husband, but I bug him constantly about moving south - I miss it dearly! Anyway, I like your blog, and hope the humidity isn't driving you batty. :)
In June 2007, Angie Kay Dilmore and her family moved from their hometown of Pittsburgh, Pa. to Lake Charles, La. The transition from Steeler Country to Cajun Country has been an ongoing adventure.

What an exciting game! Wave your Terrible Towel! Congrats to the Bayou section of the Steeler Nation (maybe that's just you?!).
