June 2007-We left Pittsburgh on a Saturday. Our moving van wasn't scheduled to arrive at our new home until Wednesday, so we decided to take our time. Four days, 1,200 miles, two bored boys, two cranky cats. Enough said.

We've moved a lot but only back and forth across the Texas Louisiana line. Only once with a cat and she didn't like it any more than we did.
Can't wait for the next segment...but no pressure. ;-)
I definitely sympathize with everyone in your car! Perhaps especially the cats. When I was a kid we moved to Mississippi for a year. Our cat howled for the entire drive from Baltimore to Mississippi. We stopped at every Civil War battlefield on the way, and my father had us pose for a photo at the cannon as if we were going to shoot it off.
